Research Partnerships

Research Partnerships are strategically designed collaborations that advance rigorous, policy-relevant scholarship on HBCUs. These partnerships engage internal faculty, external researchers, philanthropic organizations, and policy stakeholders in co-developing studies, securing sponsored funding, and translating findings into actional insights that inform institutional practice and public policy. Through formal agreements, researcher partnerships expand the HBCU Center’s research capacity, strengthen grant competitiveness, and position the HBCU Center as a driver of national higher education research and discourse.
