Faculty Affiliates

The Center for HBCU Research, Leadership, and Policy’s Faculty Affiliates are Howard University faculty whose research interests are aligned with our mission to illuminate the collective success of HBCUs through institutional collaboration, research-informed advocacy, capacity-building programs, and leadership development.

To apply, please submit your application, including a CV and a statement of interest outlining your research alignment with our mission. We encourage faculty members from diverse disciplines to apply.

Faculty Affiliates are expected to participate in activities and initiatives that advance the Center’s goals and priorities including supporting collaborative efforts with HBCU and HBCU-ally partners;

*conducting and disseminating empirical research and policy and practice publications,

*developing case studies and other practice-based resources that promote innovative and data-driven solutions to institutional challenges;

*developing or implementing HBCU Center programs; and serving as internal and external ambassadors
